The Senior Accountant prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries. Summarizes financial status by collecting information, preparing a balance sheet, a profit and loss, and other statements. Performs financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting. Assists with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and month end close. Assists in developing accounting policies and procedures. Works closely with office management on special projects and audits. The employee will also follow company rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards addressed in the Compliance Program.
