We currently have a great opportunity for a Sonographer in our Graybill office in Escondido . This is a key role in which you would be responsible for performing routine procedures and specialized examinations. The Radiology Technologist responsibilities include screening patient for appropriate medical history, providing quality patient care, performing quality assurance testing, and completing necessary fee tickets and consent forms.
The Sonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound, echo and vascular procedures by producing, assessing, and evaluating ultrasound images and related data used by physician to render a medical diagnosis. Acquires and evaluates data while exercising discretion and judgment in the performance of clinical examination of adult patients.
- Proficient in echo and vascular ultrasound exams.
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Current RDCS & RVT certification required.
- 2 yr exp with performing ultrasounds required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
